Civil War for Kids (Elementary)
The students in Mrs. Huber's class at Pocantico Hills
School in Sleepy Hollow, NY learned about the Civil War
and made a timeline of important events from 1860 to 1865.
The bar graphs contain data about the North and the South
in 1861. They looked at Civil War battle victories, used
mapping skills to examine the nation in detail and made
both Confederate and Union flags. They have drawings of
uniforms, short biographies of leaders, links to other
sites, and activity sheets.
